Staff Product Manager: Ad Campaign Recommendations and Opti-Score

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & vision: Define and own the long-term vision and strategy for Recommendations (including Reddit’s version of Opti-Score), aligning it with broader business goals and market trends around ads recommendations in the industry
Requirements gathering: Gather insights from advertisers, agencies, and sales to understand their pain points and needs. Translate these insights into innovative Recommendations products that make optimizing budgets and creative easy so advertisers and sales teams get more of what they want: reach, video views, clicks, conversions, and app installs
Leadership: Be the owner and champion of Reddit’s Recommendations products. Define and own the opti-score that makes it easy for our advertisers and Sales team to set up performant campaigns across verticals. Drive energy and excitement for the product area within the organization and help all cross-functional teams deliver holistic solutions that make advertisers successful
Roadmap Ownership: Build and scale Recommendations solutions that leverage Reddit’s unique data, driving efficiency and value for advertisers. Develop, prioritize, maintain, and execute the product roadmap across all Reddit teams, balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation
Driving execution: Choose success metrics, set goals, own Opt-Score (e.g. Reddit’s Campaign and Account health scores), and create accountability within the company. Help our teams deliver against the roadmap
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, design, user research, sales, marketing, legal, and other teams to ensure smooth product development. Act as the glue that keeps stakeholders aligned and on track
Communication: As a senior member of the Product Management team and the product owner of a business line, you’ll regularly communicate across functions and the entire ads team, including frequently presenting to C-level executives
Market Analysis: Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape in the fast-moving world of ad recommendations to inform product decisions
Qualification
Required
7-8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years within AdTech
End-to-end experience with building Recommendations advertising solutions (for ex: Google OptiScore)
Strong depth of understanding with Machine Learning, and experience driving strategy for ML based AdTech products
A track record of developing and championing product strategy and vision with quantifiable business impact
A compelling influencer with demonstrated experience working with Sales & Marketing teams, along with other cross functional teams to drive alignment, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and execution skills
Technical degree (computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics or related field)
Preferred
Deep experience with Machine Learning is a strong plus
Proven experience working on large initiatives, across teams, and on highly cross-functional products
8+ years of product management experience in a technology company
