Manager - Quality & Clinical Effectiveness -Interventional Platform (Full-Time, 8 Hour-Day Shifts)

Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for quality improvement initiatives across interdisciplinary teams, based on Director’s direction
Manages team to help achieve strategic goals and imperatives
Manages and mentor quality consultants, data analysts, and clinical specialists to enhance their professional development and performance
Leads clinical quality improvement programs and initiatives, executing strategic direction and collaboration with internal resources, consultants, information technology, and medical and administrative leadership
Develop, implement, and evaluate quality improvement programs aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes across various disciplines, with oversight by Director
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and establish evidence-based practices
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical data to inform quality improvement strategies
Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, trends, and outcomes to stakeholders, including leadership and administration
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements related to quality and patient safety
Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and standards, and implement necessary adjustments in practice
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within interdisciplinary teams
Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety and reduce adverse events within clinical practice
Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for identified quality and safety issues
Collaborate with clinical leaders, staff, and other departments to promote a shared vision for quality care
Engage with patients and families to gather feedback and incorporate their perspectives into quality improvement efforts
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality initiatives
Regularly assess and report on the impact of quality improvement efforts on patient outcomes and satisfaction
Promote the integration of research findings and evidence-based practices into clinical care
Encourage participation in quality-related research projects and initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college required
Five (5) years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of patient care processes and quality improvement required
Experience must include a minimum 3 years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or performance improvement roles within a healthcare organization
Understanding of quality improvement methodologies and frameworks
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and performance metrics
Awareness of patient safety principles and risk management practices
Understanding of evidence-based practices in healthcare
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in data management and reporting tools
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Capacity to drive change and foster a culture of quality improvement
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Proficiency in MS Ecosystem/Office Suite (Teams, Copilot) - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
CA-RN (Registered Nurse) required
Preferred
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a work-related field preferred
Human Factors Knowledge: Demonstrates understanding of human factors principles, enabling the design of user-centered solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and overall user experience in healthcare settings
Process Improvement Skills: Ability to analyze workflows and implement process improvement strategies, resulting in increased operational efficiency and enhanced patient care outcomes
