The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in graphic design, providing instruction rooted in professional practice, and supporting student learning through critique and mentorship.

Required

Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Graphic Design or a closely related discipline

Demonstrated professional experience in the design industry

Demonstrated teaching skills with pedagogical excellence

A strong portfolio showcasing contemporary, industry-relevant work

A clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, to convey clear, well-articulated information, with the ability to understand, speak, and write in English professionally

Excellent problem-solving skills with intuitive reasoning and the ability to analyze information/events while applying accurate judgment to solve problems that are both routine and complex

Flexibility in a swiftly changing environment

Takes initiative while actively seeking opportunities to develop within a collaborative team environment

Operate learning management software and other technological tools utilized to facilitate content creation, communication, and planning, including industry-standard software (Adobe in a Mac environment)
