Financial Analyst I / Finance RCA
Hartford HealthCare is Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network, and they are seeking a Financial Analyst I to join their team. In this role, you will analyze revenue flows, work with various teams to interpret financial data, and support financial decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities
Analyze accounts receivable and revenue data using the Kodiak RCA tool
Prepare, Review and explain month-to-month changes in financial activity
Create reports and packages to support monthly close processes
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like denial trends and payment patterns
Partner with teams across revenue cycle, managed care, Third Party Reimbursement and IT to improve systems and workflows
Share insights and support financial decision-making across the organization
Continue growing your skills in finance and healthcare systems — we’ll support your development every step of the way
Qualification
Required
Experience in healthcare or medical revenue cycle
Strong analytical and Excel skills (especially pivot tables)
Comfortable working with data and explaining insights to others
A self-starter who enjoys learning and problem-solving
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field OR substituted by 10+ years in an analytical role
Preferred
PeopleSoft 9.2
EPIC patient accounting system
Tableau or similar reporting tools
Kodiak RCA Tool
