Responsibilities
Manage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure
Designs, validates, provides test reports and sign-off documents, and ensures production readiness
Coordinates with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interfaces with other departments in support of the above
Coordinates the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers
Provides continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste
Helps to assure safety in the lab and office
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required
4-6 years' experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design
Demonstrated product innovation
Demonstrated ability to meet product development deadlines
Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to MT. Vernon, MO is required
Preferred
BSME/BSAgE/BSAeroE preferred
SolidWorks CAD experience preferred
Project management experience preferred
Experience working with independent suspensions a plus
