Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics

They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics to support and optimize manufacturing operations, providing technical expertise in the assembly, testing, and inspection of electronics products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Design test stations for conformance testing of avionics electronic equipment
Determine test requirements and design and upgrade current test stations
Responsible for two or more assembly lines
Create documentation of manufacturing methods, processes, and testing requirements
Develop assembly guides, procedures, and illustrations
Investigate and determine solutions for complex manufacturing electronics problems that are encountered during the manufacture and testing of avionics parts and assemblies
Provide technical alternatives for and coordinate the solution with others on problems with test equipment, tooling, inspection, engineering, material, and manufacturing
Develop software and instructions for automated equipment
Document and analyze problems to allow for traceability of faults, assemblies, serial numbers, and other identifying characteristics for trend analysis
Collaborate on new designs and recommend modifications to optimize productivity and producibility
Represent Operations on Material Review Board (MRB) Investigation & Disposition
Collaborates with the operations departments to identify and troubleshoot problems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and a wide range of duties
Drives continuous improvement program to improve Operations quality, cost, and schedule
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Typically, 5-10 years of experience in related engineering discipline supporting operations
Deep understanding of theoretical concepts and principles of Test and/or Electrical Engineering
Experience with engineering drawings, parts lists, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Understanding of multiple programming languages and interfaces for testing software
Ability to find and correct errors in theory, design, and application
Superior communication skills to instruct others performing manufacturing processes, to collaborate with design engineering for technical information transfers, and to interface with cross-functional disciplines
Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, computer aided design, and PCB design
Must be a U.S citizen
