Responsibilities

Help develop advanced technologies to ensure the security and resiliency of next-generation mission-critical systems
Conduct research and development in one of the focus areas
Participate in the group’s activities, including educational and social events

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a BS (junior year or later preferred), MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Computer security, operating systems security, and virtualization
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Applied cryptography, security protocols, and secure communications
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Software architecture, software engineering, and programming (e.g., Rust, C/C++, Python)
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Embedded systems design and development (e.g., C, VHDL)
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: DevOps and the software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, and testing
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Academic research experience or publications in computer security, resiliency, or cryptography
Demonstrated ability to turn vision into reality
Demonstrated strong communication skills
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required

Benefits

Housing support is available for eligible non-local interns, including access to discounted university housing in Boston and a one-time taxable relocation payment.
Complimentary daily shuttle transportation is provided from Boston-based housing to and from the Lab.
