Saputo Inc. is a top 10 global dairy processor dedicated to high-quality products and community support. As a Marketing Consumer Insights Intern, you will conduct market research to extract insights and make recommendations based on consumer behavior and needs.

Responsibilities

Gather category, consumer, and shopper data to help identify opportunities to improve sales and/or category assortment using various databases including IRI, NCH, KWIKEE, Rapid Recall, Data Sync GS-1, Wal-Mart Retail Link, etc

Prepare customer category reviews

Conduct competitive analyses and present findings to internal stakeholders

Design and deliver presentations based on analytic work

Complete a value-add projects for the category marketing team

Develop a firm grasp of the industry including understanding the competitive landscape (pricing/promotions/marketing strategies, etc.)

Identify new opportunities for high-impact research to answer organizational knowledge gaps around dealer and consumer needs

Effectively manage projects, prioritize, and adhere to timelines

Required

Pursuing bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field

Enjoy the analytic side of marketing

Have experience (in or outside of school) drawing insights from data

Can create an effective presentation and have experience presenting

Have intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, if/then, etc.)

Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team

Have the ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed

Display traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention

Demonstrate professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times
