Responsibilities
Lead and support a small, dedicated team of data engineers and analysts through mentorship, technical guidance, and priority setting
Roll up your sleeves to personally own and execute on key projects, especially those that cross organizational boundaries (e.g. customer success, field operations, and product)
Define and maintain a roadmap of high-impact data work that supports both product insights and internal business operations
Serve as the connective tissue between product data and customer-facing teams by helping integrate insights across systems and functions
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and execute analytical work in service of concrete business and product decisions
Champion data quality, documentation, and rigor across everything your team touches
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science, including fluency with tools like SQL, Python or R, and cloud data environments
3+ years of experience managing individual contributors
You've led small teams and are comfortable balancing hands-on work with people management
You excel at stakeholder management, particularly in navigating competing priorities and advocating for data-informed work
You're comfortable working within constraints and know how to drive meaningful progress in low-investment environments
You enjoy translating complex data into actionable insights and take pride in making systems and people work better together
Preferred
Bonus: Experience working in or with life sciences R&D and/or enterprise SaaS organizations
