Mechanical Engineer (Generation) I, II, III, IV, or Senior
UNS Energy Corporation, headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, is a subsidiary of Fortis Inc., the largest investor-owned electric and gas distribution utility in Canada. They are seeking a Mechanical Generation Engineer to provide engineering expertise, coordinate projects, and assist with budgeting and equipment testing in a plant environment.

Responsibilities
Providing primary engineering expertise for plant group, including technical evaluations, economic analysis, drawing and document preparation
Coordinate and control the assigned projects
Participate in the design and implementation of the group responsibility training
Assist the Superintendent or Plant Manager with the O&M and Capital budgeting and budget adherence. To develop accurate and comprehensive budgets and monitor them for adherence
To supervise or perform equipment testing, and performance monitoring or testing throughout the plant. Collect, evaluate, and provide equipment recommendations on a routine or as-needed basis
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years experience in a plant environment
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
