Inaugural MUSC Florence Psychiatry Residency Program Director (MD/DO) | Florence, SC
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and MUSC Health Florence are seeking a Residency Program Director to lead a new Community Psychiatry Residency Program. The role involves program development, resident recruitment and supervision, and ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards.

Responsibilities
Program development, growth and adherence to ACGME accreditation standards
Ensuring compliance with MUSC-Regional Network GME policies and procedures
Didactic/clinical teaching and supervision of residents in the Psychiatry program
Providing direct patient care as part of the faculty practice, including call coverage
Participation in quality improvement and research programs and other collaborative activities within the MUSC community
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
Graduation from an ACGME accredited residency program
Outstanding educational and administrative skills
A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the field of medicine
Current certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Three years of experience as Associate Program Director or Program Director in Psychiatry
Hold and maintain an unrestricted medical licensure in the State of South Carolina
Hold and maintain an unrestricted DEA and SC- controlled substance registration
Preferred
Regional or national leadership experience in medical education and GME
Significant accomplishment in field-related scholarship
