Responsibilities
Architect and implement innovative solutions that power our large-scale advertising ecosystem
Own the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, utilizing cloud technologies and microservices architecture
Collaborate with elite professionals across various disciplines(e.g., Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers) to deliver on behalf of customers
Drive process improvements and embody Amazon's leadership principles
Shape the technical vision and strategy of our products
Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes and transform them into exciting experiences
Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations and processes that are used by the entire services team for development
Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews
Deep-dive into client or server systems to optimize for performance, maintainability, scalability, extensibility as needed
Mentor your team members to promote engineering excellence
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
