Responsibilities

Grow institutional relationships across originators

Deliver high-value trade ideas and market insights tailored to each client’s investment objectives

Monitor macro trends, prepayment dynamics, and regulatory shifts impacting the mortgage and structured product space

Play an active role in shaping the direction of the desk and supporting the growth of the broader platform

Required

5 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in mortgage originators sales

Undergraduate Degree required; additional higher education and specialty designations a plus

A track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with mortgage originators

Strong product knowledge, analytical skills, and comfort with market data tools

Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence

Superior written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas

FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required

Self-starter mentality with a high level of accountability and execution

Must be authorized to work full time in the U.S., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any type
