Responsibilities
Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients
Exhibit initiative, accept responsibility, communicate effectively, and manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity
Assist and mentor less experienced teammates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients
Experience preparing federal tax returns
Preferred
Master's degree in Accounting or related field
Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
Strong relationship management and practice development skills
Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
