Responsibilities
Execute construction and rehabilitation tasks under Job Order Contracts (JOC), which are indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreements
Manage, process and monitor JOC task orders from conception and scoping, cost estimating, cost/scope reconciliation, task order processing/execution, completion of physical work, commissioning and task closeout
Coordinate tasks for routine replacement of active process piping, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and architectural features
Manage on-call construction and rehabilitation services for wastewater facilities and structures
Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of maintenance and construction activities
Provide project management reporting on progress and completion
Qualification
Required
10 years as Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer with Wastewater or complex industrial facility experience
Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Preferred
5 years of experience preparing mechanical/process estimates using RSMeans estimating software
15 years as a Facility Engineer/Manager on complex water/wastewater facilities or complex industrial facilities
10 years as a JOC Coordinator on large infrastructure systems including large federal facility/military base work
