Responsibilities

Lead and contribute hands-on to motion design, editing, and art direction across trailers, social campaigns, ads, and in-game promotions
Own and refine the vision for video and motion-based projects, ensuring storytelling, pacing, and tone are aligned with each game's identity
Collaborate with internal game capture artists and editors to define shot lists, cinematic moments, and visual hooks
Create and present storyboards, animatics, and visual references to communicate creative direction
Manage and mentor a team of designers, editors, and motion artists—providing actionable feedback and creative guidance
Partner with the Sr. Director of Creative to evolve the visual language of each campaign and bring brand stories to life
Ensure all creative aligns with marketing strategy, platform best practices, and brand guidelines
Stay ahead of platform trends (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and gaming culture to evolve storytelling formats
Maintain high-quality standards while balancing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-output environment

Required

Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite —especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop
Proven ability to edit high-performance trailers, ads, and motion graphics for digital, social, and UA channels
An understanding of game capture workflows, including working with Unreal Engine and/or Unity
Proficiency in motion design and compositing using After Effects, with solid visual effects, typography, and layout skills
Experience working with in-engine footage, dev tools, debug modes, and capturing cinematic sequences
Familiarity with audio syncing, pacing for performance, and storytelling through gameplay and UI footage
Clear communicator with strong presentation skills; able to articulate visual decisions with context
Lead by example style—always willing to jump into the work to push the team forward
Excellent at managing feedback loops between marketing, creative, and studios
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities
Curious and experimental—eager to test new formats, styles, and technologies
Passionate about games, trailers, pop culture, and visual storytelling

Preferred

Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya a plus
