Responsibilities

Working with experienced environmental and mining professionals on operations improvement projects

Assisting mine and plant operations with identifying opportunities for environmental improvement, developing alternative solutions, and making recommendations

Advancing Chemours’ safety culture

Contributing to team meetings and participating in team activities

Qualification

Required

Enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or comparable fields

Good capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Preferred

Experience with environmental investigations in the field

Capability with ArcGIS

Familiarity with technical and regulatory aspects of hydrology, water quality, wetlands, protected species, air quality, or related environmental disciplines

Strong interest in applying environmental practices to industrial operations

Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom
