Information Technology & Services
Responsibilities
Moves material through the facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack, handcarts) as required
Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
Load compactors and trailers
Operate baler
Decontaminate containers prior to being placed in production
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
Properly documents work performed
Conducts material audits
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
High school diploma or G.E.D and zero to four years' previous experience
Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity
Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 50 pounds frequently
Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting to 50 lbs
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred
Prior experience in general labor, sanitation, construction, or warehouse work is helpful but not required
Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently or in a team
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
