Responsibilities

Gather comprehensive business and technical requirements to facilitate the development, maintenance, and enhancement of technology solutions
Perform in-depth analysis of business and system processes, documenting the repercussions of process and data changes
Document detailed requirements and designs to guide teams in constructing solutions that align with specified criteria
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to pinpoint requirements and address concerns
Contribute to the design of technical solutions and resolve business challenges through systematic analysis and problem-solving approaches
Utilize a range of business analysis techniques and tools to offer valuable insights for informed decision-making, encompassing areas such as data management, predictive modeling, data mining, forecasting, simulation, and optimization
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Three or more years of experience involving analytics, systems development and technical writing
Experience with the Guidewire platform complemented by a foundational understanding of the insurance industry
Proficient in analysis, problem solving and prioritization; ability to evaluate situations and make appropriate recommendations
Skill in organizational and time management with attention to detail, ensuring tasks and deliverables are executed with accuracy and precision
Skill in verbal and written communication, facilitating clear and effective exchange of information; ability to generate process documentation and reports
Ability to function independently as well as collaborate in a team environment with skill in interpersonal communication and the ability to multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SQL and other languages to evaluate data sets
