Responsibilities
Perform oxygen therapy treatment protocols as prescribed by a physician
Observe the patient and the hyperbaric systems during the course of oxygen treatments reporting unusual occurrences
Accurately document patient condition and the administration of care in the patient record in a timely manner
Take an active role in hyperbaric medicine education programs and orient hospital and other personnel to hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Contribute to a culture of patient centered care by ensuring a quiet healing environment
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 12 months in a hyperbaric environment
Valid Certified Hyperbaric Tech (CHT) by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
