Technical Sales Engineer- Mid-West

EXOR International is an Italian company that specializes in HMI, control, and Industrial IoT solutions. They are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support their growth in North America, focusing on developing customer relationships and promoting their product families and IIOT solutions in the Mid-west region.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow the customer portfolio
Promotion and sales of EXOR product families and IIOT solutions
Market research and development of business intelligence
Build and develop strong business relationships
Identify leads and opportunities with new and existing accounts
Maintain internal data management systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
Identify solutions and prepare technical/commercial proposals in alignment with the US HQ Team
Negotiate and close commercial contracts
Account management and customer relationship management
Ensure customer satisfaction and information management towards HQ
Support After Sales client communication and support
Support the development of a high-performance distribution network
Regular interaction and reporting to HQ on goals, objectives and metrics
Regular informal and formal reporting to senior management and team members
Continuous learning willingness about industry trends and EXOR´s products and services
Ability to occasionally communicate with Italian HQ (in English / inter-cultural sensitivity is a plus)
Entrepreneurial thinking and high level of autonomy
Organization skills and time management
All other tasks as necessary and required by the job

Qualification

Mechanical engineering degreeElectrical engineering degreeTechnical sales experienceAutomated systems experienceProject management skillsPublic speakingBusiness software proficiencyItalian languageCommunication skills

Required

Mechanical or electrical engineering degree (bachelor)
Ideally some strong commercial and financial knowledge (MBA is a plus)
5 to 10 years of work experience in a technical sales role or application engineering
Experience with automated systems and robotics (PLC, HMI, systems engineering, …)
Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Strong communication skills, good listener, good communicator
Ability in a high-performance environment
Public speaking ease and good presentation skills
Willingness to travel (50%) of the time thereof domestic (95%) and international mobility (5%)
Good command of business software and IT skills
Ability to work in the United States (work authorization)
Valid driver´s license is mandatory

Preferred

Italian is a plus (but not a requirement)
