They are seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist who will perform radiographic procedures and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
Perform radiographic procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner
Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique
Maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety
Prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy
Ensure the delivery of quality care and remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills
Use professional and ethical judgment, along with critical thinking in performing their duties
Engage in continuing education to enhance patient care, public education, knowledge, and technical competence while embracing lifelong learning
Qualification
Required
IR/Cath Lab or EP/Cath lab experience needed
ARRT Certification required within 3 months to remain employed
1-2 years experience in Interventional Radiology OR Cath Lab
Post High School Diploma Program
BLS Certification
ARRT Certification (Certification-eligible technologists must become certified and registered by passing the ARRT certification exam within 3 months of employment to remain employed)
Excellent Communications Skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
