Responsibilities

Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements for more complex accounts

Monitors budgets and commitments, processing subcontractor and vendor invoices, preparing drafts of owner invoices, and resolving issues

Partners with the project manager and other team members to monitor overall job financial status

Collaborates by preparing for and attending progress and division meetings

Prepares monthly reports with current estimates and identifies risks or opportunities

Prepares special analyses as required

Serves as mentor and provides training to or supervise less-experienced Project Accountants

Excellent accounting knowledge

Excellent organization skills with high level of attention to detail

Excellent ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Excellent computer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc. required

Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
