Responsibilities

Optoelectronic component design/development/test
Chip design and foundry engagements
Perform design technology co-optimization (DCTO)
Perform photonic chip and device test
Perform data analysis
Synthesis or R&D result and prepare publications and dissemination material
Assemble and/or improve lab test environments
Identify and prepare applications to funding opportunities
Mentor team/group members

Qualification

Required

PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field

Preferred

Experience with ASIC and mixed-signal (including PIC) Design for ML/AI applications
Experience in industry or national laboratories

U.S. Citizenship
Proven publication record
Proven team mentor
