Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trust & estate and other entities
Conduct tax research and provide technical support on various tax issues
Assist with tax planning and advisory services for clients
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Mentor and train junior staff members
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficiency with tax software and technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Preferred
CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred
