Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty members teach classes, advise and mentor students, evaluate student performance, and maintain student records in accordance with university policies
Adjunct faculty members work in a collaborative manner with full and part-time colleagues and adhere to all of the policies and procedures outlined in the UCO Faculty and Employee Handbooks
Adjunct instructors are required to attend yearly training session(s) and coordinate with the department faculty to achieve course continuity, assessment, and quality as required

Qualification

German language proficiencyDegreeHigher-education teaching experienceCommunication skillsProblem-solving skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Possesses at least a master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval)
Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
If academic degrees are not specifically related to the language, then teaching experience must demonstrate the ability to teach beginning language
