The MEP Designer Intern will contribute to the design and engineering of modular construction projects, gaining exposure to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while supporting various projects from concept through fabrication.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing structural and MEP plans, sections, elevations, details, and other drafting tasks under the supervision of a Project Engineer
Prepare shop drawings for plant fabrication using Revit
Create detailed drawings for shop installations and site-built conditions
Provide calculations for design specifications as needed
Research building codes and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Support multiple projects at various stages, ensuring quality in all deliverables
Participate in weekly design meetings to discuss progress and requirements
Join team members for on-site project observations, including travel to other Z Modular locations
Promote healthy and safe work practices in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Completion of junior year of a Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering program
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Knowledge and experience with Revit
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Available to travel for the Internship Summit, hosted at a Zekelman Industries location
Authorized to work in the United States
