Responsibilities
Work on complex Indirect tax audits, managed audits, and recovery of tax overpayments (reverse audits)
Prepare complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries by researching and analyzing a wide range of tax issues and tax implications
Lead projects and a team of sales and use tax professionals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA, CMI or JD
5 + years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm, tax services firm or similar industry
Experience with a focus on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting
Preferred
Master's degree in Accounting or related field
Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
Strong relationship management and practice development skills
Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
