Responsibilities

Supervise projects to ensure they meet commitments related to time, quality, and communication. Work directly with clients to establish project schedules and set expectations
Assist market segment manager and team leader in manpower projections and scheduling of work
Manage, direct and supervise mechanical engineering staff in the execution of specific projects to meet schedules and timely completion of projects. Schedule and lead mechanical production staff meetings
Assist team leader in annual reviews of mechanical staff
Assist market segment manager and team leader in maintaining and developing client base through various business development efforts
Assist market segment manager and team leader in preparation of RFP type proposal responses including project write ups, resumes, etc
Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents
Checks all technical work for accuracy
Ability to work well independently and as part of an experienced team
Take an active lead in proposal for work process. Identify prospective clients and work in conjunction with team leader to establish relationships with those clients
Deal directly with clients/owners to determine specific project needs

Qualification

Mechanical systems designRevitP.E. in Mechanical EngineeringCommunication skills

Required

7+ years of design/engineering consulting experience
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

P.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred, not required
Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus
