CT Technologist Lead

The CT Technologist Lead is responsible for overseeing other technologists and providing computer-assisted tomographic services to patients, ensuring high-quality imaging while addressing patient and family concerns.

Responsibilities
Serves as a resource to other technologists
Provides computer-assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physician according to established standards and practices
May prepare patient for imaging by administering contrast IV and non IV
Should be familiar with Imaging Gently and/or ALARA practices to promote low dose, high quality exams
Technologist focused on infant, children and adolescent patients, as well as adults
All imaging staff must be able to address family and patient concerns to help facilitate a Family Centered Care approach
Qualification
Required
Minimum two (2) years of experience working in an acute care setting
Graduate from an approved education program in Radiologic Technology
Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively and professionally with others
Be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
Ability to use compute and software programs necessary to the position e.g. Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Post Primary Certification (ARRT-CT)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
California Fluoroscopy Certification (CRF)
Venipuncture Certificate
Preferred
Three (3) years working in an acute care, pediatric environment
One (1) year of previous supervisory/lead experience
