The Operations Specialist/Grain Originator Intern will collaborate closely with customers to deliver top-notch service and valuable insights during the summer internship.

Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain quality of inventory
Regulate and periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping
Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks, etc
Operate equipment for loading and unloading distiller's grains, corn, ethanol, and minor byproducts. This includes operating an end loader, forklift and operate conveyor systems
Ensure processes are operating normally, in a safe and compliant manner
Participate in grain quality management by regular clearing of storage bins/silos
Perform grain grading and train to help provide coverage for the Scale House
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
Preferred
Agriculture experience or background knowledge helpful
Previous internship experience helpful but not required
