Responsibilities
Record and do any required editing for WGN public affairs programs
Record and do any required editing for WGN sports programs
Edit Community Calendar
Prep commercials for WGN and NewsNation
Edit NewsNation programs that are needed for encore playback
Generate captions for any edited material
Deals directly with engineering for maintenance
Coordinate with EIC for show and commercial delivery
Coordinator of IFB Bunker
Operation of Master Control automation systems
Assumes job duties of absent department staff
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience in a similar television work environment
Experience with Adobe Premiere
Good communication skills
Excellent organizational and detail skills in order to meet telecast deadlines
Must be willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
Preferred
Knowledge of Florical and BitCentral preferred
Computer skills with working knowledge of Windows Word and Excel desired
