Senior Project Manager - Structural

WGI is a leading consulting firm seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Structural Engineering group. The role involves managing structural engineering projects, coordinating with clients and teams, and ensuring project delivery meets client expectations.

Responsibilities

Perform project management of structural engineering projects, including client coordination, team coordination, and project control (e.g. schedule, budget, design, quality, and profitability)
Manage self and team to realize the minimum required or more billable hours each week
Execute and deliver various engineering projects on time, on budget, and exceed the performance expectations of the client
Manage and assist with work on all phases of various structural engineering projects, preparation of drawings and specifications, design review, and coordination of construction documents
Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation, specifications, and during construction administration
Provide structural design, analysis and calculations, code research, and implementation
Meet with clients, contractors, and agencies to develop strong professional relationships
Maintain project document files, including meeting notes, financial information, client correspondence, and project schedule
Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents through quality assurance reviews at different phases of the project
Participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects

Required

10 to 15 years of professional experience
Expertise in seawalls, cofferdams, piers, water and wastewater, stormwater pump stations, gated control structures, civil support structures and bridges
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
Minimum of ten years' experience in the Structural Engineering consulting industry
Minimum of ten years' experience in a variety of structural design
Active licensed PE and/or SE
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
