Responsibilities

Assisting with Client development

Proposal preparation

The planning and execution of exploration

Analysis

Design

Reporting

Preparation of specifications for geotechnical projects

Specialized experience regarding site investigation programs

Design and in-situ testing of shallow and deep foundations

Soil and rock slope stability evaluations

Design of retaining walls and reinforced soil slopes

Settlement/expansive soil evaluation and mitigation measures

Required

Motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work with various technical disciplines in a team setting

BSCE required

PE license or ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months

Preferred

MSCE in Geotechnical Engineering

Experience in both public and private sector work

Department of Transportation experience

8+ years geotechnical engineering experience
