Responsibilities
Ensure that you present yourself in a professional manner and appearance in a day-to-day contact with customers, guests and co-workers
Document all OJT to build experience portfolio
Perform tasks as required by the work scope with efficiency and to quality standards
Utilize the applicable technical data relative to work performed including but not limited to: maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, repair and modifications
Learn the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/ Quality Control Manual relative to the scope of the normally assigned duties
Acquire a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and in particular, CFR parts 43, 91, and 145; and 135 as required
Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCM
Maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5Ssystem of “sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain”
Focus on Human Factors in the workplace and strive for zero defects in workmanship and safety
Observe and administer company rules and regulations and safety policy and standard operating procedures
May perform other duties as required to meet departmental goals
Perform at maximum efficiency by effective use of available resources
Collaborate and cooperate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve the on time and on budget objectives of the work scope
Perform daily activities toward providing services and deliverables to the customer that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations
Support the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectives
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a technical training course with certificate
Must possess the physical dexterity and general mechanical knowledge required for a technician
Proficient in the use of pneumatic tools and basic hand tools
Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents
Ability to understand and relay both written and verbal instructions
Preferred
Previous aviation experience preferred
Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Prior experience drilling and fastening of sheet metal parts
Prior welding, fabrication or cabinetry experience preferred
