As a Software Engineer in Test Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in software quality practices, working within an agile team to develop and maintain automated test scripts while contributing to the overall quality assurance process.

Responsibilities

Work on enterprise software solutions, where performance, reliability and scalability are critical design goals necessary to run large-scale events

Learn how to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications under the guidance of experienced team members

Be introduced to executing both manual and automated test cases, as well as logging and tracking software defects in our systems

Observe and participate in reviews of requirements, specifications, and technical designs, learning best practices for providing constructive feedback

Get involved in code review sessions and discover how to contribute to improving software testability

Receive training in analyzing test results, identifying root causes of issues, and suggesting process improvements

Practice documenting test plans, test procedures, and results for assigned projects, with mentorship from QA professionals

Develop an understanding of software quality assurance and automation best practices, with support and regular feedback from your team

Required

Full-time college student with plans to graduate in May 2027 (summer between Junior & Senior year)

Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks

Ability to commute to our headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA

Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, or related technical degree

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Outstanding oral and written communication

The ability and willingness to work alongside senior team members and managers to further your professional development
