Responsibilities

Assist the SGM and Deputy for Target Engagement Systems as the TES SME working in collaboration with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry - to develop new tools and technology in support of the SOF Individual and Crew Served Weapons and Small Arms Ammunition community
Assist in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation to include Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and update Project Folders
Tasks include: provide advice and training on current advanced drilling techniques/technology applications; explosive planning factors; charge preparation; charge emplacement; and design, fabricate, and test commercial and industrial blasting products
Coordinates with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Manager to ensure adequate design specifications and associated documentation and problem resolution for problem reports

Required

Must have a Bachelors degree
Must have at least 12 years of experience in weapons and small arms ammunition development, testing requirements, fielding, industry SAAMI specifications, (particularly SOF) with a knowledge of weapons and small arms ammunition employment techniques, tactics, & procedures
Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized)
Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance
