Responsibilities

To assist in the planning, direction and structure of the clinical activities for the Operating rooms

Qualification

Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS)Ophthalmology experienceDental experienceBSN preferredCNOR preferredOR nursing experience

Required

Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter
American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire regulatory required
Two (2) years OR nursing experience required
Two years-experience within the past 3 years in Primary Specialty Service (Ophthalmology, Dental), evidenced by a majority of current work in Primary Specialty area
Weight Requirement - Medium (up to 50 lbs)

Preferred

For OR Service Leader BSN preferred
CNOR preferred
