Responsibilities

The contractor is responsible for the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats

Qualification

Networked systems managementNetwork architectureTopologyRouting configuration managementNetwork standardsProtocolsNetwork/system administration certification

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT, related field, or equivalent experience
4 years of experience in the development, configuration, installation, and maintenance of networked systems including LANs, WANs, and Telephony Systems
4 years of experience with network standards, protocols, and procedures
4 years of experience in network architecture and topology, including transmission protocols, broadcasting, switching, control, and management
4 years of experience in performing routing networking configuration management functions
4 years of experience in network systems management methods including end-to-end systems performance monitoring

Preferred

Certification in network or system administration is highly desired, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, MCSE, and MCSA
