The Associate Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and producing construction drawings, preparing engineering reports, and assisting project managers in various engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of engineering tasks and assists project managers in the management and execution of projects

Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope

Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices but may include a variety of complex features

Directs and/or designs plans, calculates and prepares engineering documents, including details, schedules, cost estimates for projects, selection and application of engineering design and materials in accordance with the latest governing codes

Assists in project administrative functions such as tracking project budgets, invoicing and preparing project reports

Works closely with Project Manager on many aspects of projects

Works as an Assistant Project Manager

May provide construction observation

May participate in public involvement

May assist with or develop project scope of work or portions of it
