Project Engineer
Myers & Sons Construction is seeking a Structures Project Engineer for their Tim Bell Road Bridge Replacement Project. The role involves managing project documentation, collaborating with the project superintendent, and performing construction layout, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Work On Site to help solve problems that occur during construction
Working within Vista to manage documents
Maintain thorough understanding of the contract with the Owner
Monitor and report project progress
Field work: construction layout, developing grades, and work plans for self-performed work
Review and approve project invoices
Document control such as submittals, RFI's and Change Orders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management or Engineering
2 - 5 Years of Experience in highway civil or structures construction projects in California
Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and self-perform work
Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, motivational skills
