They are seeking an Application Engineering Co-op to assist in various engineering tasks, including failure analysis, customer support, and product testing for their bearing products.

Responsibilities
Assist other application engineers and perform failure analysis on bearing products as assigned
Participate in on site customer visits with other application engineers to give support for specific applications / product installation and maintenance / troubleshooting
Attend training schools for our bearing products and applications to distributors
Assist in the competitor benchmarking test plan creation and development of new/modified/improved technologies aimed at our bearing products
Assist in the design of test machines and procedures of benchmark testing
Supports product analysis during and after NPD or benchmark testing
Support in updating engineering technical information related to catalogs, brochures and website data
Assist in solving routine problems with an aptitude for basic problem-solving skills
Supports product engineering projects
Complete other projects as identified in co-op project plan
Qualification
Required
Ability to adjust to varying priorities and project lists
Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees, management and customers
Self-motivated, capable of working with sense of urgency
Strong Analytical Skills, Decision Making, Critical Thinking
Preferred
CAD skills preferred (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid Edge)
Technically inclined with a preferred hands-on ability
