The role involves assisting a survey crew in performing various types of surveys using advanced equipment and technology while ensuring safety and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist the field supervisor with all aspects of the daily crew workload

Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations

Ensure safekeeping of equipment

Ensure that vehicles are supplied and kept in an orderly fashion ready for duty

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering, GIS, or Planning

Must have good Mathematical skills

Must have basic computer skills

Must have good communication skills

Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check

Must be physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites under all weather conditions; able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to work overtime as required

Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods

Preferred

Previous internship experience is a plus

Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
