Responsibilities

Researching New Energy Efficiency Measures & Technologies: Stay at the forefront of advancements in energy efficiency by identifying and analyzing emerging technologies, products, and best practices relevant to commercial and industrial settings

Refining Equipment Specifications: Collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers to evaluate and refine specifications for lighting, HVAC, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with energy efficiency standards

Conducting Site Visits: Participate in on-site assessments, gathering critical data, observing energy usage, and supporting the implementation of efficiency measures. These experiences will allow you to see firsthand how energy-saving projects are carried out from start to finish

Provide cross-functional support to the engineering team through collaborative initiatives, general research, data analysis, and strategic input to help drive continuous program improvement

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and techniques, with a willingness to learn new concepts

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy

Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members

Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively

Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and support various projects

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines

Preferred

Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar software) is preferred

Experience with reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Experience with PowerPoint and Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliverables, while remaining flexible
