Brightway Insurance is one of the largest privately-owned property/casualty insurance distribution companies in the U.S. The Financial Strategy Associate will support the financial strategy by analyzing data, creating financial models, and evaluating investment opportunities to provide insights to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast business performance and evaluate investment cases
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals
Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing explanations and insights to management
Assess new and existing projects, investments, and assets to determine their financial viability and potential return on investment
Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities
Work closely with senior business leaders to gather data, identify business needs, and provide financial guidance

Required

Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience: 2+ years of experience in Corporate Finance or Strategy, Investment Banking, or a related field
