The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Women’s Lacrosse Coach Intern to join their Pitt-Bradford athletics team. This temporary, on-site position involves assisting the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach with coaching, player development, recruiting efforts, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with and provide instruction during practices and games
Support player development through individual and team training sessions
Provide strategic analysis for games and practices
Assist with both on-campus and off-campus recruiting efforts
Coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes
Monitor academic progress and provide support for student-athletes
Assist with game day management and event operations as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 1 year of playing and/or coaching experience at the college level
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a diverse community
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications required
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum Years Of Experience Required: 2
For position finalists, employment with the University will require successful completion of a background check
The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance
