The intern will work with a team of engineers on roadway and transit projects, assisting in traffic analysis, design, and construction support tasks while gaining valuable professional experience.

Responsibilities
Work with a team of engineers, planners, and technicians on roadway and transit projects
Perform field investigations, assisting in traffic analysis, design, and construction support tasks
Ability to learn planning and design aspects of projects
Prepare construction cost estimates and quantities
Design Traffic Signals and signal timings per agency standards
Prepare Traffic Signal plans
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Previous internship experience preferred
MicroStation experience preferred
Task Management and leadership skills preferred
Local candidates preferred, no housing stipend provided
