Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and highly available data systems
Build large-scale distributed data pipelines that power automated data ingestion, transformation, and warehousing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA to deliver high-impact features
Drive innovation in data engineering best practices, architecture, and tooling within a cloud-native environment
Ensure system security, performance, and reliability in a multi-tenant SaaS setup

Required

BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of applied experience
Strong programming skills in Scala, Java, and Python
Experience in implementing scalable data pipelines using Spark for both batch and real-time processing
Developed and maintained data transformation logic using functional programming paradigms in Scala/Python
Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
Should be able to write SQL queries and have experience working with database through Java/Scala
Be a champion for CI/CD and development best practices, especially around automation and testing
Experience with agile software development
Experience building high-performance, resilient, scalable and well-engineered systems
A creative and growth mindset and willingness to solve challenging problems and learn new skills on the job
Good communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate engineering designs

Preferred

Prior experience with Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Analytics is a big plus

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
