Senior DevOps Engineer
Astranis Space Technologies builds advanced satellites for high orbits, providing secure networks to sophisticated customers globally, including the US military. The Senior DevOps Engineer will contribute to the infrastructure team, ensuring rapid iteration and deployment for mission-critical satellite operations while maintaining CI pipelines and improving developer productivity.

Responsibilities
Maintain and streamline a CI pipeline integrating with a mix of real and simulated hardware
Introduce and optimize build tools and workflows to accelerate development
Automate release, deployment, and monitoring tooling for development and production systems
Implement and own the proliferation of metrics and performance tracking in development, CI, production, and mission contexts
Lead initiatives that improve developer productivity and developer experience
Qualification
Required
6+ years experience in Infrastructure and DevOps engineering
Bachelor of Science in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology)
Proficiency with Python or other scripting language
Experience with scaling build systems such as, but not limited to: Bazel, CMake, or Pants
Strong Experience with Linux
Experience working with CI tools such as Gitlab, Github, Jenkins, Tekton or others
Strong written and oral communication skills
Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without much supervision
U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, Or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
