Project Architect - Mid Level
Gensler is a global architecture and design firm that emphasizes innovation and collaboration. The Project Architect will work with a team to develop design solutions and coordinate projects through the construction administration phase, while also mentoring junior staff members.

Responsibilities
Design and plan complex architectural projects of varying types
Work in all phases of design through construction administration
Manage and lead the client, the design team, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
Ideally have Design-Build Project Experience
Produce BIM models and construction drawings
Resolve challenging technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical and constructible solutions
Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development for both interiors and core & shell projects
A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Effective communicator, collaborative and team-conscious
Provide Mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members
Participate in office culture and drive office initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
Must be a licensed architect in the State of California
5-10 years of experience in the profession of architectural design
Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants
Experience working directly with trade partners and contractors
Experience resolving complex technical and design issues
Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite
Understanding of how buildings are constructed and the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be done
Knowledge of California building codes, standards, and building structures
Understanding of sustainable and universal design concepts
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required
Preferred
Ideally have Design-Build Project Experience
